sounds like a good plan to me, I have recently heard someone else say .0025 taking off. I have always heard/done 20,40,60,80, and big bore. I guess maybe it doesn't matter.

how long did it take you?? and i never tore a polaris engine apart (( all one piece cyclider and head )) so once u get everthing loosen to take it off just pull up on the jug until the piston comes out?

I usually take the head off, and then yeah pull the jug off and then your done. I could pull the jug pretty fast, I want to say I could be all done in less than 45 minutes. Putting back together takes a little more time, make sure that you take your time and do everything the right way.

well brad im getting it milled not bored ( milled--- taking a head and shaving some off in thousanths when u do this there is less space bewteen the piston and the head so there will be more compression--better throttle respone and better get up and go power) getting its bored is a totall differnt thing thats where u make the cyclider hole bigger usually done by 20 thousanths and that adds torque

the head and jug is all one piece so thats why im not sure upon how hard it was to take it off
but im going to gie it a shot i know that when your getting it milled from a previous thread that you dont need to jet but im not usre about porting so would a 150 still be ok or do i need to go up?
