somewhere a while back I read an article on restoring old plastics, maybe it was in a dirt wheels. Have you tried wiping them QUICKLY with paint thinner? that might get rid of some of it but be carefull as it could melt them down if you dont clean if off thoughly, some people use brake-clean to neutralize it.

I have heard of stuff called Pro Prep. (Black can) around $8.50. I have not used it yet, since my quad is new, but all my buddies use it, and the guy at an accessories place uses them on all the used quads and motorcycles that they have for sale. Supposed to give it that "factory new" look. I guess it is a silicone base product that renews the gloss, fills scratches, and also protects the plastic from new scratches. Also makes it easier to wash off mud, because the mud doesn't stick as well...

sorry, Also you might want to use a high quality automotive cleaner wax. That will help fill the scratches. I recommend macguires or mothers.

Dennis Kirk has a couple kinds of plastic polish. Not sure about the names though.

Plastic renew took all the scratches out of my scrambler too, but I could never get a good shine back is the only bad part.
