Default Transmission Swapping.

What is the difference between a 1994 sport tranny and a 1996 sport. I have looked on ronnies.com at the parts diagram and the outside cases are the same but the internals are different.

I have a 400 scrambler frame that i am building. i have the motor and i am looking for a tranny to put in it, i have one for a concentric drive, but my frame is for a nonconcentric. Just wondering if the 94 sprt will work, since i dont want 4x4, if the internals are similar i could use that.

Yeah I would say it should work, if it mounts up then it will.

It will mount up, that what i mean by the cases being the same. I am wondering about the inside, like is the 94 a high-low-reverse? The insides are different and i want to know what it is. Thats about the only thing i can think of.
