Default Jetting on 250 Trailblazer...

Hey, I have a question on what size main jet i should go. I have a HSP speed kit and now i want to remove the airbox because most of the time I dont ride in mud. I'm pretty sure the jet that is it in right now is a 160. Please help. Thanks

Hey I would like this also.....I think I also have a 160 now, I think stock it is a 140? I dont really ride in mud either, usually just sand and soft dirt.

I would just go up one from what you are running, considering that the jet you are running now is making you machine in tune. Then check the plug and see where you need to go from there.

The plug is easy, if you have a plug wrench. I guess the worst part is getting burnt by the pipe and the motor.

Well if u have the money, the best tuning tool for ur jetting is a exhaust temperature gauge, they send you a sheet on what the temperatures should be at certain throttle settings so u get the most power but, don't fire ur rings/piston. I love mine, it makes adjust to new temps so much easier than checking the plug!!
