How does the EFI 700 compare to the reg 700??

 

Had my 04 (carb version) up to 70 on speedo and with GPS. Spedo is accurate, as I have seen on any ATV. I have to agree with others it is stable as can be. Mine actually has factory wheel weights on the front to keep the tires balanced. I have never seen this before. Wonder what happens if I lower the psi in the front tires?

I think yalls 700's will prolly go a little faster. I have had my 600 up to 65, and trust me I'm a big ole boy, so it was pullin a good bit of weight. I figure yalls 700's prolly have a little more in them.

 

I heard that Polaris limits the speed to 68mph or so. They'd go faster but they have it limited some how. Just what I heard.

 

Polaris, limits the speed two ways. 1 which is an easy fix, is the white nylon nut on the primary clutch to limit how far it shifts out, simply remove gain 1-2 mph. Second, which I don't know of a fix is the CDI and how the timing retards at higher RPM. Perhaps the CDI of the 4 stroke sled will snap right in.

 

I think your speeds are off by quite a bit. Does anyone know which is faster..... a P700 or a Prairie 650?

Wait so if i remove that little white nylon thing off of that long bolt that you take out when removing the primary spring i can gain 1-2mph?
