My buddy is the mechanic at my dealership and they pulled last year and didn't fare so well. He said they talked to Polaris and got some ideas but I keep tellin' him that I'm not gonna pull my 700EFI cuz I don't want to break it. Won't he be surprised when I show up this year. So I need just a little help.

A few tips I picked up from pulling, and talking to those who have puuled more then me. Get as much weight on board as you can. Air your tires down as much as possible with out blowing the bead. Get as much weight on board as you can. The more weight up front the better. Get as much weight on board as you can. Once your front end starts hopping, might as well quit cuz in my book thats when stuff breaks and it aint worth it. Get as much weight on board as you can. See a trend here yet?

Well there are a lot of tricks depending on what type of track your pulling on... If you have the new stock radials still on your efi, then
your allset to go for hard pack, or clay tracks, if it is a very loose or gravel track than you want at least 26" mud type tires. The itp 589's and goodyear mudrunners seem to be the best. on hard/clay tracks keep your tires hard, maybe even add air. but on loose tracks i'v run as low as 1-1/2 lbs. next thing is what are their rules? If you can get away with it...crank your rear suspension all the way up, some
try to add pucs to the springs too, but it is probably illegal. bolt a clevis to the top of your hitch with 3-4 washers underneath if a clevis is allowed, otherwise use a trailer ball. the higher you hitch the chain the more traction you get. next trick is weight, do they class by
cc's and weight, or just by cc's-no extra weight allowed. you want as much weight as is allowed!!! put all the weight in back for 2wd
class, then 2/3's of the weight up front for 4wd class. please email us back this summer and let us know how you do! I'v been
thinking of buying a new efi 700, and have heard the clutching is the best ever stock.
