Default serious brake problems!!

Oh yeah total cost was:

$7 for the junction box
$22 for the braided steel line, which i think 02 and back will not need this i am not sure though
$6 for the steel line and fittings to block off the front line and run a line to the box

i got all of this stuff at auto zone...

So let me get this straight. For the hand brake, there is a junction box that spits 3 way, one line to each front caliper, and one to the rear. You disconnected the line that goes to the rear, and blocked the fitting at the box. For the foot brake, there is just one line that runs from th master cylinder to the rear caliper. You added a line from the master cylinder to a junction box. From there, you connected the existing rear caliper line as well as the line previously disconnected from the front. Am I understanding this correctly?

Ok #6on this diagram is the braided steel line that goes from my rear master cylinder to my rear caliper.. On the 2000 TB250 it had a hard steel line that when to the back of the quad the turned into a rubber line to the caliper, On on mine it was braided steel line from the rear master cylinder to the the caliper, thats where mine and yours may differ... The line that comes from the front i blocked off at the back of the quad... Ok on mine i had to run a hard steel line from the rear master cylinder to the box, from there i had to buy a new line because the stock braided line would not work it was to long and had the wrong fitting because it was made to go from the rear master cylinder to the caliper, For the second line i used the stock line from the box to the caliper...

Now that you mentioned it, I do have a hard line that runs from my rear master to the back of the machine. So where that connects to the rubber line (on mine) is where I should put the junction box, right? Now, for the other lines, The one that runs from the front box and goes to the rear caliper has a break in the line then? I cant remember how it goes at this time. But is there a line that runs from the rear caliper to the back of the machine, then another line that goes to the junction box up front? Where they connect is where you capped it off and then ran that line from the caliper to the new juntion box?

This is what you do,

Connect the the junction box to your hard line from the rear master cylinder, from there run your stock rubber line to the caliper, remove the rubber line that connects to your hard line which comes from the front cap off the hard line.. Take the stock rubber line and connect it to the junction box that you added from there to the rear caliper and your set...

Anytime bud you have the same time problem as me...

The fittings etc may differ from what i told you because of different years, but i am sure you can figure it out its all straight forward once you start messing with it
