Its not worth the extra 400 or whatever to have his name decaled on your bike. you could jsut go buy #8 Stickers paint the bike or get red plastics and you would get off cheaper then what they chargin.

 

No need to paint the frame, it's still gray like the standard and the Troy Lee. But, for the extra $400, you get a serial number that states its a Dale Jr. like the Troy Lee Designs. Anyone can go out and get a standard and get black plastic and the decales, but your going to spend a lot more that $400. The plastic alone just for the front and rear cabs is $200, then all the decales. And you still don't have a 'true' Troy Lee or Dale Jr Predator.

 

Plus you get nerfs and a front bumper.

 

What a waste of money that is.. Its the same machine just with different graphics. So every time you buy one you just make dale jr a little more richer.

 

you can buy paint for plastic and its really cheap and it wont flake and it will flex with the plastic. then the stickers are really cheap. the only expensive thing is the nerf bars and front bumper but your just paying for his name on the quad like troy lee. u only pay for his name.

 

Paint on atv plastic doesn't work for crap. Getting the front bumper and nerfs is $380 right there. A standard model msrp's for $6100, the TLD mrsp's for $6300, and the DEJr msrp's for $6500. Buying a limited edition quad is what you are paying for, like getting a black Raptor and so on. Just like people who buy different color plastic for any other quad, they wanna be different, have it stand out a little over the rest. I'm all for anyone who gets a Jr limited edition, they look good and for just a couple extra dollars, they're different than any others.

 

Well, I think it is a good way to market name recognition for Polaris. Most people with knowledge of electronic marketing media know that the NASCAR demographics are prime consumers to market to. Besides, for the extra $400 you get a cool color and the extra aluminum. I didn't hear the Yamaha guys say that the LE version of the YFZ, Raptor, or Banshee weren't worth the extra $$$ when they were really only a different shade or plastic, some paint, and decals. Hat's off to Polaris.

 

one thing is for sure, you are gonna get alot more of those sold going with Dale Jr than with Kyle Petty!!! Does anyone know if Polaris is still a sponsor for the petty's???
