96 fourtrax 2wd chain drive conversion?

Hello, I recently got a 96 fourtrax 2wd that hasn't run since 2015. Now since last weekend I've got it to start and idle fine. The tires on this are rotted and before I put more money into this atv I was curious if there is a kit or different output shaft I can buy to convert the shaft drive to a chain.
I picked this up with the intention of getting it running and possibly using the engine since it has reverse and electric start on an off road gocart.
If nobody makes this and it's a waste of time I may just sell the atv. I'm not against bending tube, welding, etc. I just don't want to rely on one off parts to make this work when I'll likely need replacement parts in the future.
I've searched a bit online and have found 2 or 3 posts about a guy wrecking his and wanting to do the same with no feedback from like 10 years ago.
Thanks for any input or links.

The gearbox output shaft and the bevel drive gear are one piece. Almost impossible to convert it to chain drive. By pure luck you have bought one of the best quads Honda ever made, don't mess about with it. Rear diffs are the weak point, but aftermarket suppliers ensure you can rebuild them. There are lots of ready made go carts to be had for little money, as Chinese importers fetched loads in a few years back, and many are now "needing a bit of work".
