Predator Frame Paint!!!
Anyone of you predator owners noticed that the Frame Paint on these Predator suck. It seems Like polaris didn't use any primer paint or something.I've noticed that the paint seems to be very thin .Also if you rub a sport on the frame you can see it get darker and dull. They did't paint these things as good as the scamblers.I've welded on my scrammy frame many time andevey time it is hard to get the paint off those scrammy's.But these predator paint just wears off if you even scrub them clean. They also chip real easy to.
Has any of you guys painted them a different color?I've been thinking about a rip apart project just to paint the frame, but that is alot of work for me with these broken ribs of mine. How about some touch up paint?Do any of you know of a good match for the stock frame paint?
Thanks
Matt

Predator Frame Paint!!!
I painted my frame and sub frame GM truck solid red. I painted the swing arm & a-arms a GM car silver. It looks good with black plastic. I used Duponts Imron paint. When it cures its the hardest most durable paint on the market. The only thing thats any better is powercoating.

Predator Frame Paint!!!
It will, It's not like the paint just falls off. It just dosen't take the abuse of sand and rocks as good as the rest of the quads do.My pre has a ton of little chips in it up front, and ths isn't because I ride in the back of the pack. Most of the time I'm out front leading everyone eles.
It also just seems to be thin If you got some oil on the frame to wipe off Don't wie it hard it may dull the finish.
