Default Beginner mods for stock TB250 - need help

We bought a Trailblazer 250 last summer and after riding it a bit I feel it can be "uncorked" to allow more performance. The TB seems like it is really tuned down to be entry level friendly. Has anyone done mods to their trailblazer to get more power out? I am really looking for some 'bolt-ons' that I can do so that the machine remains friendly to it's main rider, my wife.

Thank you to anyone that can share their ideas.

David

Changing the primary spring is the cheapest. Check out Ritter Cycle. Lots of people on the forum have done it (getting mine ordered Monday) and he has great customer service. Stage 1 kit is only 325.00, and that includes shipping.

Most of the mods to a trailblazer are bolt on and pretty easy. Get a pipe and clutch kit as
a set. The best power for your buck is to use one manufacturer, so go with RCR or HPD.

Thank you for the RCR connection, I had not heard of them before. I will look at their Stage 1 kit that you have spoken of. It sounds like it is a popular modification.

Thanks again,

David

ya, it is real nice. Just like you, i came into these fourms not knowing anything about ritter cycle and the quality of work that they do. Just to help, they are great! I ordered the stage one kit with an HPD pipe, and it really woke my tb up. The only thing is that it is kinda loud. I love it, but my parents are not so thrilled, so you may want to figure out how loud you want you quad to be before buying anything. I hope this helps out some!

all the after market stuff for your four wheeler wont give you more top speed it will just give you more power and after you get all of the stuff you want on it then u decide on the size of the sprokets, for instance i rode a complete stock tb 250 today and teh guy was riding mine he passed me really easy but after we both got into top speed we stayed the same distance apart. bigger the back sproket smaller the front will give your more bottom end and smaller back bigger front will give you more top speed
