I plan on buying a pipe/clutch kit for my 2000 Trailblazer within the next few weeks. I don't really care about "Top speed",
I just want more overall power. I ride alot of trails that have large hills and some wide open straight-a-ways. I need some advice on which brand. Some dyno info. maybe, or tell me what kind of power gains YOU got from your own Blazer kit. ...Please, only from some of you with "hands on experience".

Hey Blazer,
I've got the HPD pipe and Hotseat clutch kit.
HPD claims 8-9 hp with there pipe. I'd say that feels about right. My 300 ft. drag times say that its about 5-7 tenths of a second faster than my stock tb. I really don't think you will get much more speed out of one unless you do some engine work.

i went RCR lowend kit.
Power gains were very noticable.
Acceleration was increased, Topend was better(maybe 2-4 MPH gain), I could wheelie without using the brake, Hill climbs were much eaiser.
I was very happy with the results. Best 310 i ever spent.
Personally, i'd say go RCR, and by a complete HPD clutch kit with it. Then you have everything.
A lot of guys out there love their RCR kits. A lot like their HPD Hotseat.
In my opinion they all do what they say they will do, i like the RCR just because to me it's a better value.
if you want to see pictures of the RCR pipe and silencer check out the link in my signature. There is a picture of my Trailblazer with the pipe.
