Tether cord help on Pred
#2
If it's a Polaris tether, there is a plug right below you lights. Plug the tether into it. Then drill out the flat round area by your dummy lights, then install. If it's another type, like Pro Design, you can make up a end that will plug into the stock plug, then mount to handle bars.

What I did with my "other than Polaris" teather was just to flatten the terminals that came on the unit and slid them into the plug on the quad. They haven't fallen out, but to be on the safe side I also wrapped the entire thing up with some electrical tape.

The Pure Polaris unit mounts easily. I drilled a hole on the flat on the RH fender. The plug is normally behind the RH headlight. Make sure to take time mounting it so you get proper engagement. :0

Thanks for all of the info guys, I have a "Gunnar Killer" tether. It comes with a ground wire( a hole in it) and a male plug end and a female plug end. The actual switch is to be put on the handle bars, where do you guys suggest putting that?? There doesn't seem to be much room or anywhere handy. So I assume that I put the ground into a bolt near the steering stem or somewhere like that, probably doesn't really matter as long as it goes to the frame. So where do the plugs go?? I'm not even sure what the whole Pred electrical system looks like, or even how to access it. Thanks for everything. Brad
