I just found out an easy way to do this on my Sportsman so send me an e-mail if you would like to know how to disconnect the override button. BigJak429@cs.com

Why not just post the info here instead of requesting email? That's what these forums are for.

All you have to do is pull the black wire that goes from the overide box out of the conection box.Ay least thats all I had to do on my 1996 magnum and sportsman.

Allow you to go as fast as you want in reverse without holding the override button. And if you do it right, you wont have to hold the button for 4wd in reverse. On my scrammy, all i had to do to eliminate the override was unplug the connector under the hood. But, for 4wd in reverse, I had to do a little soldering of some wires together. Wasnt hard though. The worst part was tracing the dang wire down!!!
