Default general pipe question

I am looking for pipes for both the scrambler and wolverine however I wonder if I need a "complete" pipe or if an actual slipone is just as good. I have worked on numerous cars and know the value of the diameter of the pipe in regards to backpressure and scavaging but after looking at the ATV factory pipes they dont seen to be too inefficient??
Thanks

I don't think a full system will make that much difference in a 4 stroke, the slip on's should be adequate. I got a silencer and head pipe simply because I got a great deal on it.

You may see slightly better torque from some aftermarket headpipes. But the slip-on give about the same (maybe just a little less) horsepower increase
