I think that there is no "standard" way to set up the clutching on every quad. Everyone has different expectations and needs. If you want to do it right then you will have to mix and match components in both the drive and driven clutches to maximize the performance for "any" given machine.
I've used components from all of them: RcR, HPD, EPI, TPI, Super Torquer, Polaris, etc. Every component is unique and reacts differently to the engine modifications you have made to your machine.

Also, the most overlooked element is that these clutches are torque sensing, what works for one does not necessarily work the same for another. You must tune the clutch with a tach for engagement, shiftout and runout on top end with about 1/2 tank of fuel and your own body weight. It's very important, because 240 lbs. on the seat will perfom differently than 165 lbs. on the same seat. The performance for both with exactly the same setup will not work right for one of them. There is the "magic" of clutch tuning. So, to turn perfectly, you must "do-it-yourself" if you want the maximum performance from your Polaris atv.

I personally "hate" the high engagement clutching that most kits offer. It is done to give the rider a "sense" that it's really wild because it engages and launches higher (rpm) and harder than stock. Like now it really works better beacuse of this . . . nothing could be further from the truth. Measure with a stopwatch. This high launch rpm can be easily accomplished by holding on the brake and bringing it up to rev to launch as high an rpm as your brakes will hold, usually 4,000+ rpm. I have our 400SS launching at an unheard of lowly 2,200 now with shiftout @6,800 and tailing out on toip to 7,000+. I'm still tuning the rpm's to get the quickest time in a drag race for 100-200 yds. This setup is the quickest we have tried yet. In fact, with our motor, it's actually better to launch with just peddling the throttle out of the hole at 2,200 to keep wheel spin to a minimum and getting on ful as quickly as we can. We achieve full shiftout in about 50 ft. with this setup. it works, but requires hours of test and trial to get correct.
