Ok guys, I got the tether cord hooked up and it works most of the time. Every once in a while it doesn't work, when I pull the cord out, it doesn't kill it. I hooked the one end up to the red/white wire under the hood, and grounded the other. So that part must be right, but every once in a while it doesnt work, what could be wrong? Could there be a problem in the actual switch? Thanks Brad

 

loose wire maybe? i dunno... odd if it works sometimes... seems like something isnt getting a good connection.

 

Yeah that is exactly what it seems to me too. I know my connections below are good, can something be wrong inside of the switch?? It is brand new, but could it possibly be faulty?? I guess I'll have to look into it further.

 

i wouldnt think so... you said you had a gunnar switch in another post right? my buddy has one on his pred and its fine... then again that doesnt mean much... yours could be one in 10,000 thats bad...

 

Yeah I have a gunner, Doug said that it is one of the best brands. I guess i'll test light it and see if I have power comming in and out of the switch
