I would deffinatly go with the 4x4. You will really appreciate it when you get into some deep mud. I have a 2003 scrammy 500 and I don't know what I would do with it if it wasn't 4 wheel drive. Just my 2 cents.

If you ride in area that will never require 4wd, then go for the 2x4 for sure. Its lighter and slightly faster. Plus there is less to break and go wrong. But for me, 4wd is a blessing I Love the mud!!!

it would be the 400 2x4 for me,as long as your not going into 3ft mudholes there is no need for a 4x4.IMO

the 2x4 does pretty good in the mud if you got the right tires ( not like the 4x4 but good enough if your not a real mudder) also if you ride in the snow it would be nice to have 4x4

I have a 4x4, and love it.....The only problem is it is heavy....The biggest problem is my buddy has a 2x4 and I always have to pull him out....yhey are 8 of us who ride together, I'm the only one with a 4x4 so it seems I'm always helping someone out. Mine has more low in, and the 2x4 has more top in, of course before the mods. Now he don't stand a chance.

Thanks for your response........I plan on getting 2x4 since I have 4x4 330. I feel I have the need for speed. My daughter will pull me out when I get stuck..........
