Guess what? You're in luck... Polaris makes a fully manual quad. It's called the Xpedition 425. But, it's only a 5 speed and it's a utility quad. Check it out here:

Yes, the Xpeditionis a manual, but not a full manual. It is an auto clutch manual. I think He means a full on, pull the clutch lever in to shift machine, like the banshee or 400ex. I love the Polaris auto. It is a great machine to tune. You can set it up just the way you want if you know what you are doing. But it would be nice to have a manual for those people that want them.

Lurch, most people in no way understand the advantages of the auto. For hillclimbing and drag racing, the auto is far superior. Anyone who has ever done any serious car drag racing knows the advantage of a stall converter and shift kit over a manual. Luckily a Polaris auto can be adjusted just like a car: primary spring = stall converter, secondary clutch kit = shift kit. Very similar in the way they work. Now if you wanted the absolute fastest drag bike, Polaris should put the 400 into a 400lb. frame with a good pipe and tuned roller-clutched auto. Then you would have the fastest machine out there, at least until the Raptor comes out.

I love my Sport 400L auto tranny. Why? I just do. I can't imagine ever going back to a clutch and shifter system. I would take it any day over all the other manufacturered ATV's.
Just my humble opinion though.
