Default battery trouble?

I hear of that a lot.. Many have found out that the pred's charging system wont charge a dead or near dead battery...

Some don't leave their battery outside when its cold...

It has a sealed battery, these batteries need to be charged frequently if not used. It your quad sits for more than a couple of weeks i'd check the voltage, if it gets below 12.8V, be sure to charge it up.

Check the circuit breaker, it's in a black plastic pouch right above the coil under the left black plastic trim panel. Water intrusion can damage/corrode the internals causing the intermittent power loss...

Im getting the impression this has happened more than once.
Howd you get the power back? A new battery? Charging? Smackin the battery around?
If its the same battery, id say its an internal defect. Could be a loose plate, or bad solder job. When it dies, have a voltmeter handy, You can get one at harbor frieght for 5 bucks, and check the voltage accross the terminals, if its under 10 volts, its junk.
If it isnt the same battery, then it could be the battery mount is loose and the battery bounces around and breaks up inside.

Mine did the same thing and the problem was that the negative connection kept loosening up when i was riding-- I changed the bolt and tightened it good and have not had a problem since
