Default You're thoughts on some gear noises....

...specifically, on my new 500HO only when I run sand paddles. I bought some GBC PaddleMaster(25x10x12) to try out on my 400 or 500HO Sportsman. I ran the 500 for an hour on the dunes with the stock Badlands XTR's and then the next time out I put on the paddles. I was hearing an occasional "clacking" coming from what sounded like the tranny or thereabouts when I made a slow speed, tight turn. It wasn't constant but it was there and seems to not occur when running straight or at higher speed. I pulled the paddles off and ran it yesterday with the XTR's again and had no issue. The paddles definitely hook up and perfom really well, far better than the XTR's in the sand of course and I'm wondering if I am getting such good traction that the rear is just ratcheting like a locker when I turn slowly and sharply with no wheel slip. Anyone have an experience like this before? Whatchya think?
