Hey, going to buy a new set of rims and tires soon....Do you guys know if they sell lock nuts for quads or not. If so where did ya get them?

 

I am sure they do, espesially for the rear because they are a standard lug nut.

I wouldnt wast my time if I were you, What is the chance of someone lifting just your tires and wheels when they could take the hole quad? Not to mention the trouble you will be going through to FIND THAT DARN WHEEL LOCK KEY WHEN YOU NEED IT.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

are you talking lugnut locks or or a locking nutt?

 

I'm talking about lock lugnuts, so no one can steal my rims.

 

i wouldnt be worried about them stealing your rims,worry about them taking the whole quad..

 

I know what you mean, but the quad will be locked down tight....We are going to Hatfield & Mcoys in May and I don't want to rap a chain through the rims and scratch them up. So if I can get some lock lug nuts, that will be one less thing to worry about.

 

I haven't heard too many stories of theft at the H/M....we had about $250,000 worth of quads and trucks sitting outside and all we did was a chain through the quads and locked the doors.

I'm sure you could go to any automotive store and pick up some locking lugnuts, just take one with you and make sure you get the right size and thread type.
