Default Any ideas what Polaris has in mind for 2005???

Has anyone heard what Polaris may turn out in 2005 yet? I know that sometimes the local dealers can leak information early as to what to expect. I'm specifically interested in the Sportsman 700 EFI. I was considering purchasing one from Chattanooga this weekend. I want to be sure an updated version is not scheduled for 2005 etc. Ideas? Thanks...

An Arctic Cat Suspension? Now that has me scratching my head also. I will take the edge suspension over Arctic Cat any day. Then I would take the M-10 over anything on the market for trail riding. Jay

ok polaris has the same suspension that skidoo had with the stabalizer/control arms or what ever they are. and arctic cat doesnt. our cats ride so much better then their skidonts doo. trust me arctic cat and skidoo have much better suspension with out those control arms or whatever. thats just my personal opinon though i think cats ride better then polaris sleds ne ways. plus cats are faster. i love my pred tho

To each his own. You didn't say front suspension so I assumed you meant rear. Polaris does have an A-arm suspension next year though I don't see the point. The trailing arm is just as good for the backyard biler. Jay

lol superballs you have no clue what your talking about, the only fast arctic cat they have is the f7,i beat a zr800 with my polaris 700 long track, and if you didnt know polaris new sled's have a-arms instead of trailing arms.you dont even know what makes a-arms better or worse do you?i didnt think so..its funny you dont even know what they are but your sure the a-arms are better lol,ill admit a-arms are better for for sno-cross or sidehilling but as a better ride?trailing arms or a-arms dont make any difference..as far as rear suspension polaris owns it,arctic crap doesnt even come close..

There are rumors that polaris is supposed to make some big changes in their atv lineup. Around the lines of a totally redesigned lineup. This is not supposed to include the sportsmans or predator in this big change. I've heard rumors for awhile now about Polaris releasing a SP800EFI by the end of this year. On this forum I heard rumors about a Scrambler700 and also a smaller Predator, most likely a 300 or 250. I just hope they make some changes to get them into 1st place in atv sales.

I hope we hear something soon. I'm holding out for the 05 untill I get myself and the kids a new quad. I would have thought we would have heard something by now. It was this time last year when I got my Trailblazer. And they had $300 polaris bucks out. This year they aint doing nothing as for as Polaris bucks. I just hope we hear something before summer riding is over.

yeah i meant front suspension. and as for knowing the technical difference of y Aarms are better i dont. but from riding all 3 i like the steering and everythign better bout the a arms then the older polaris and skidoo front suspension. and im sure thewayout that your polaris was modded and the zrt 800 was stock. not to knock polaris but Arctic Cat sleds are the best there is. im all for polaris atvs tho.
