heelclicker and belt wear problems
#1
I put a heelclicker in my sp700, but I didn't notice much of a change until I put the orange spring in the primary. It really woke the machine up, but the engagement seemed high. I put the stock primary back on today and noticed belt residue on the inside of the belt cover, way more than it should. I put a new belt on about 2 weeks ago and cleaned the whole clutch area, so I know it's all new. I use the machine for logging and pull an arch behind it and was wondering if the high engagement could cause the belt to slip more under a heavy load. If so, how should I set the clutch up? I did change the tip weight by removing the washer in hopes of giving the belt a little more squeeze. Thanks
