What is it with some Honda guys on this forum? A particular topic entitled "rancher problems" encouraged members to mention any problems thus far with their new Honda Ranchers. I wrote to explain about my transmission problem only to be accused of lying!
I am new to this forum and I am hoping all members are not as rude as some i have found to be on the Honda site.
I believe all manufacturers basically make a good product so what is with this defensive attitude i have seen thus far on the Honda site? Do these guys have shares in the company?
Comments guys?
Max

I am the one that posted the Rubicon/SP500 challenge and I have been beat up every since. The two post I made concerning this have attracted about 3000 views together. Some people think it would be fun and interesting to see the results but others get almost violent at the thought. I just thought it would be fun. Now I enjoy yanking their chains. It is hilarious to see some of these people take this stuff so serious. They act like it is a crime to think your bike is in some way better than a honda. If I didn't, I wouldn't have sold my honda to buy a Polaris. I have pointed out over and over the good points about the Hondas but they seem to forget that when they go to reply to me. I have even recieved e-mails.

Maxtrax,

As a Honda owner, I wasn't upset by your post. A few more details would be nice. Since I own a Rancher. The bottom line is EVERY manufacturer out there makes a lemon every once & a while, just some more than others.

Its good to here that you are enjoying your Expidetion.

Maxtrax, here is the perfect example (gregsim) of one of those that just doesn't get it! He is however on the otherside of the fence, Polaris - so don't just think that the other brands are immune to idiots like this.

Come on Greg, why do you think you get all these views, because you **** people off - end of story! It's not like you say anything intelligent, in fact you give us many reasons to believe you struggled in school.

Overall Max, you will find this forum very enjoyable and educational.

Some Honda owners actually want everyone to believe that there machines never break. no matter how old or how hard they drive them. Honda makes a great product, there is no denying that, but they break I owned one I know first hand that they can have troubles just like anything mechanical. But I agree most of the people here are cool and want to just talk to other owners and tell stories and ask for help and give if it they can.

Tom,
Have I ever called you an idiot. I don't think so. Even when people like yourself insult me, I do not reply with the same tone. You are probably one of the people this thread is refering to, and you don't even know it.
If I have wronged you, I will apologize. If I have ever said anything in defense, it was meant to be humorous.

If you would like to know, I graduated from Texas A&M near the top of my class with a BBA in Business. I ride and reply to this forum for fun. I wish others wouldn't be so hostile.

Greg

well I hope it's clear to anyone who cares that I found myself getting pissed a couple of times. Once I notced how absolutely stupid it was I backed off and apologized. I even told greg off a couple times. He kept his composure and come to find out he is very friendly, very very knowledgable on quads and is anything but an idiot. The guys that continue to get pissed should take my advice and get over it. Especially considering he's yanking your chain the whole time. Right Greg...Right...
