Default New Scrambler price? Too good to be true

I am looking at buying a 2004 Scrambler, have had many atv's and am dead set on the Scrambler, but am a little confused about the price. I am in the St Louis area and 3 out of the 4 dealers near here are around 5600, but there is a place I found online in Chattanooga TN that shows them for 5000. I will gladly take a weekend trip with my trailer to save 600, but is there a catch? Does anyone know if there is something I'm missing or if it really is a good deal?

The same thing happened to me last week..

I called around i couldn't find a TLD pred under $6,299(with out tax).. I call this place called Harvest Depot (about 170 miles away) they tell me 5,600 OTD tax and all..

I was confused at first so i called them back again the next day and they said the same, I went out there friday and got the pred for that price...

Good luck,

TrailRider

There are quite a few individuals on this forum that have bought from Polaris of Chattanooga. From what it seems, this place is legit.

crpadiem1... Polaris of Chatt. is legit, I'm stating a fact. I purchased my 03 Scrambler from them in June of 03. I payed the exact price OTD that was told to me on the phone, not 1 penny more. well worth the drive!! To bad other dealers aren't willing to do the same!!!

Yes, Polaris of Chattanooga is legit. The reason other dealers are not selling them as cheap, is that POC is selling them for cheaper than other dealers can buy them from Polaris. This is from a couple of dealers in the area. I don't know how they are making their money, but they are making it tough on everybody else. Obviously, I have no problem with their prices being low, but not so low that they run everyone else out of business.

Supposedly, the service at POC is terrible, but as an out of stater, you won't have to worry about that.
