About a month ago, my brother traded his Z in for a 04 Pred. I see him everyday at work, and he still can't get that big grin off his face yet.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] He say's the power and handling far out weigh not having reverse.

 

Thanks for all the feedback. This is going to be a tough one for me to decide. Right now tho, im leaning toward the predator, just because if its bad @$$ looks. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I really have no need for reverse anyways, unless I got stuck in the mud [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] but, testing and research will be done. Im defendly gonna get one before the end of april because of the $49 and $45 a month specials they have running. time to go sit and think.....More feedback still appreciated! Im gonna read every one to help me make up my mind!

Simster, I have both. I ride the Pred 90% of the time. The best attributes of the Z over the Predator is simply a more comfortable seat and having reverse. I have been a number of places where the Z simply could not hang with the Pred due to the lack of extra ponies. Not to mention that the stock suspension on the Pred provides a much more stable platform than a stock Z. The choice is simple for me.

 

depending on yoru size you should choose which fits you best. im 6'1 160 and the z felt to small the pred fit better. and i like american products better if u can buy them.

 

Yes, the Pred is faster stock for stock...no arguing that. But first off, to the guy who says his Polaris 500 keeps up with the Z, tell him to shift out of 3rd. I mean good lord, thats like saying my Warrior can keep up with Raptors until 4th gear...LMAO.

From what I hear Preds have pretty good potential, its just you dont see too many of them out there maximizing it!! The aftermarket industry heavily favors the Z in that category. The Z, no matter what some people say, also has good potential. My Z440 puts a SERIOUS hurting on my Speed, and I mean bad. But hey, if ya don't believe Z's can be fast...wait until you run into a Sparks Z, and then you'll humbly find out exactly what I'm talking about!!

 

then can be very fasy... i saw a few up at southiwick this weekend... but it does take a fair amount of cash to do it.
