I went to put on my new 38T sprocket and figured I may be able to slip everything around the hub in order to replace the rear sproket. The new sprocket will get around the hub, but the old one won't quite make it off of the hub. I need to go out and buy the correct size socket for the hub nut as I do not have one big enough. Is it 1" or 11/16" or 11/8" or is it metric or what? I did try to find the answer by searching through the old posts but did not have any luck. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

 

I am not positive on the size but I know it is metric, becuase everything on the pred is metric... Check partsland.com

 

Ok Fidge thanks for the idea, I will check there. Meanwhile, anybody who has ever removed the rear hub should know the answer to this question.
