Default All parts from RCR came today Question #1

The first thing I'm starting with is the air box mod. I can understand everything but I can't figure out where the new small rubber air intake boot, that came with the kit, should be installed and what size hole needs to be cut out for the boot ?

Thanks
Bob

You need to drill a new hole in the middle of the airbox and then install the boot. I think that I used a 1" spade bit to make the hole.

luvit that is what I was going to do but I thought for sure someone here would have an answer. The rubber boot is a extra venturi, I found that out from doing some searching

If you don't do too much mudding or deep water riding you can cut out that restrictive wall out between the filter and front of the airbox. The wall just diverts water that might happen to get into the airbox away from the filter. I cut mine out cause I ride 99 % in the sand. It made a difference.

The rubber venturi looks the same as the other two that's already there right.? The two already there are evenly spaced on each end of the front of the box. There's just room enough for another right in the middle in the front.
