Is anyone using an alternative grease other than the Polaris grease I realize it takes to different kinds of grease one type for the suspension which is the typical standard grease and the special grease for the drive shafts which is a special type do to the constant movement like a wheel bearing grease so is anybody using a grease which is probably just as good as the Polaris grease...

Stevie are you aware that you have to use a special grease on the drive shaft other than the grease you use on the suspension, because of the constant moving motion of the drive shaft...so are you using the same grease you use on the suspension if so I don't think this is such a good idea...

I use Mobil 1 synthetic grease on mine. It's a high-quality grease that's excellent for all applications from suspension to u-joints, etc. No problems whatsoever so far.

I also use the Mobil 1 synthetic grease. It is about 4 dollars a tube around here, but it provide superior protection for all application. I would not use a conventional grease if you ride in mud and water a great deal. The synthetic seems to resist water better than the conventional grease.

Hmm.. i use multi purpose Case IH grease that i swipe from work. I think that if it can hold up on a something that is moving for hours and hours straight, that it will hold up on a drive shaft or anything like that. Don't even try to tell me that you need to use polaris grease. I use polaris 2 stroke motor oil, thats it (i used case ih hy-tran in my transmission, works fine)

I use Multi purpose synthetic grease.Never a problem yet from using it.I dont give a rats *** what Polaris says to use. They all tell you to use ''THEIR'' Genuine parts ect.If we all were to do that,we'd probably have very little money left for the other things on our toys.I go aftermarket on allmost everything I can.SYNTHETIC GREASE ,YES.====Bill
