TB 250 reed conversion.....
I don't like the price of the kit, but I figured I saved enough $ over a Scram or V that I could live with the price. Would the conversion be reliable enough for trails and some slow, technical stuff? Would that be too much for the aircooled 250, or would I be better off with something milder? Going full boogie to keep the engine cooled won't happen a lot, but I don't think a Stage 1 kit would have the type of power I would like to have on tap, although I'm sure its impressive, especially since the stock power is not. Well, thanks for any thoughts!!

TB 250 reed conversion.....
Well that's pretty sweet. I'm sure racing is alot harder on an engine than trail riding is. I think first thing to do will be a RCR stage 1 kit, then the reed cage conversion sometime this summer. So how did you get the weight down so much? I imagine no reverse or electric start would make the boss cranky, but what else have you removed? Thanks again!!

Pretty much everything not needed for it to run. I cutoff all the bracing for fenders no footbrake no lights. I do push it hard. The person who finshed in secound for season was also a Polaris. I belive you can Talk to Dennis at Az Bad Boyz for a good porting job an clutch setup. I don't have all his motor mods yet there ia a stroker mod yet to that will move it to over 50hp.

TB 250 reed conversion.....
This is going to be my 2nd full riding season with my HPD reed conversion and I
am very impressed with it so far. I don't really ride slow but I don't ride full bore
all the time either! All my riding is on a homemade track that has tight twisting
woods section to a big open field area with small jumps. You will be happy with
a reed conversion kit!
