Default Predator stalling question

2 things.....

I'm not buying a yfz(unless maybe for a backup bike), and that doesn't help what is happening to my bike.

Powerslider and pred19,
If it was the throttle, would it happen at all speeds? It only happens when I am on it really hard. Basically wide open throttle(WOT) through the gears quickly. When I am a little easier on it, such as trail riding the bike is absolutely fine. I have thought however, that it has idled low since new out of the box(just never adjusted anything).

Well if your cable adjustment is boarderline it may very well act like yours does, you can simply unplug the connector to the throttle housing and try a few runs that way. If it quits stalling then it's the etc, you want an 1/8th" or so freeplay, if it's much more than that the cable adjuster is under the black tubing on the cable between the throttle housing and the steering stem. You can adjust it there, also if you think it idles to slow adjust the idle up.

What would the backfire be caused from with this problem?

The ETC cuts voltage to fire the plug, the fuel doesn't burn in the cylinder but does in the exhaust, backfire!!!!
