You mean an older Trailboss, right? I don't think the pipe will fit due to mounting locations. And I don't think you'll notice much of a gain with the bigger piston, but maybe some lost performance will be restored and you'll notice a difference...

Don't bother boring it over if you dont need to rebuild your top end. I'd say only do it if your top end is gone. And you wont notice much of a difference.

I would go back with a std. bore piston....I don't think you will see or feel a diff. Have the head shaved and do some porting. Then you will feel the power.

Yes you will see a difference on 4 strokes, but dont go over .20 on the bore. 4 strokes are different than 2 strokes in the power band basically what they did to the 2003 models is bored them out 10% to make them a 330 which gives them better low end. but if you want to see real improvements you need to get it ported. i recommend trail porting unless you want to go real fast and do race porting. raceporting will involve several more mods on your bike. but if you go with trailporting it will give you a lot of low end and higher top speed. but check with rcr because he can tell you what would be best for your bike and your riding style. i have to tell you though, i do like the 330, its a nice bike and extremely reliable. hope this helps in your decission,

I have a 96 Trail boss with a Hpd trail pipe from a late model Trail blazer with EBS. Fits well but need to cut fron fenders if they are stock. May need to trim the shift lever so it will go into reverse but thats about it.
