trail blazer prob.

Default trail blazer prob.


weak spark changed cdi unit +coil +stater used cdi but still the same ran fine be for i rebuilt it could the be a ground that im missing the black and yellow wire that comes from the cdi unit to the coil is grounded is that normal[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Unless you actually removed electrical parts when rebuilding and you have a spark, then I would say it's not the problem. Being around 2-cycles for years including chainsaws,weedeaters,etc. I have learned that usually a spark is good enough. Most of the time you have it or you dont. Have you taken a compression reading or double checked to make sure everything else is fine?

good compression the spark is so week that you allmost cant even see it

Open the gap on a plug to about .040 and see if it can jump it. If it can, then spark shouldnt be the problem.

i just tryed that it will not jump theres only one wire going to the coil its black with yellow strip off the cdi unit when i put a test ltght to it from a positive it shows that its grounded it does not make any sense

What year is the ATV? If it's close enough, I'll grab the electrical schematic and see what we can find.

I had a similer problem with my TB it turned out to be the wire that goes to the kill switch (the red switch by the head light switch ) was just dirty were it conected . The wire is under the front hood were the light is . Hope this helps.
