15 tooth sprocket for the predator??where/who
#1
Do you guys/gals know where I can get a 15 tooth sprocket for my predator.
I don'twant to use sidewinder because, evertime I call them they try to sell you a rear sprocket,a chain, and lube.they fight with you all the way about having a whole new set and not just replacing one. WELL,I my 20 years of riding It seems to me (at least) that It dosen't really matter.I've had the sprockets and chains all wear out just as fast either way.also It gets to be alot of money if you by a new set everytime you just need a chain or one sprocket. One last thing < sidewinder keeps telling us all that there sprockets and chains are the best and don't wear as much,Well if that is true, why do we have to buy a whole new set evertime???
I'm just tried of sidewinder and all there bull, price is a rip off, the sprockets aren't any better and they are dam pushy when you just want one sprocket.
SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE TO GET A 15 tooth sprocket for the pred.

yea, my dealer had it on the shelf. kinda like a 564-15 i'd guess. that's a sprocket specialists number. I'd recommend the SX style, but I had to cut the ears off my clip, cause the bolt centers are not quite the same. mine from the dealer cost 20.99, and looks like the SX from Sprocket Specialists would be 27.99...

Moose racing makes one, but I am having nothing but problems with them.... I just returned two of them (13 & 15) to my dealership today because Moose is telling me that I have the right one for my machine........but it does NOT fit with the retainer clip. They told the dealership that there is a front and a back to the sprocket (which I already knew by looking at it) and.......that there is a top and a bottom to the sprocket!!! What the he!! are they talking about? How can there be a top and a bottom to a sprocket? What if the sprocket rotates (like it is supposed to) a half a turn........Then where is the bottom and top?
They just ticked me off.....so I returned it. And now I am in the same boat.....I'm looking for a sprocket as well. I know sprocket specialists makes them, but I heard their prices are kinda high. I know I found one somewhere else online, but I can't think of where right now....

I asked the very same thing on predator owners a few weeks ago...All you need to put an '03-04 sprocket on your '05 is the retaining ring from an '03 or 04. Mt dealer had some in stock and were less than $3. It is part #3088133.
Also Rath and Nicholas (so I'm told) makes them..also HPD (YEH, RIIIIIGHT) has them..I dont recommend HPD though..for ANYTHING!
