Drive Clutch??

Default Drive Clutch??

I got I drive clutch puller, which is basically a big bolt with a handle. To remove my drive clutch to I just keep screwing this big bolt in there. It is in their quite a aways with no result, it will let me turn more but, i;m not sure if i,m supposed to. Can someone pleease let me know how to remove my drive clutch.

If you are talkin about the primary ,yes keep on turning.If it gets to a point where it wants to stop.Give the puller a good tap with a hammer.

Ok, ive erached the point where the bolt will not turn any more, How is the primary supposed to come out. should I pull outwards on the puller even harder than Ive been doing?

Default Drive Clutch??

If you are at the point where it is tight,then give the puller a couple of good blows .What you are actually doing is pulling the clutch off of the shaft,it is a tapered fit.

So should I keep hitting it with a hammer until it comes off?

just tap it a few times and try to screw the remover in a little more and repeat the process until it pops off..

Some people put some grease on the threads of the puller,you may want to try this also.You are basically pushing against the crankshaft.Give it a couple more taps with the hammer,and try tightening it a little more.

just keep tapping and turning, you'll get the hang of it..
