Default New Sp600/700 owners...........

Bought my new '04.5 Sportsman 600 a few months ago. It now has around 60-70 miles on it. Everything seems normal on it other than the peak RPM, as of yesterday, would only get up to around 5850... when brand new up to around 30 miles it would rev to 6100 or so. Has anybody else noticed this? Wondering what is causing that. Carb seem sto be opening up all the way and clutching is stock and shouldn't have anythig to do with it I wouldn't think.

Well, is there a throttle stop in the switch? If so then it could be in the cable.

Dont worry about it, unless you are racing the quarter mile. Just go through some mud and have fun. WORD
