Ok, I have a 99 Sport. At times it feels a bit tippy and top heavy. A friend has a set of 3" spacers he'll give me. Should I put them on? I've herd they can damage the bike from additional stress. thanks for you opinions

they are not good at all i guess from what I have read and my mechanic. He told me the other day if people would leave the machines stock, he would not have to work 80 hours a week.

I went with wider tires in the rear and my scram is pretty stable.

A set of wheel spacers will make your quad handle better than you could ever imagine, but if you do very much jumping they will bend your rear axle.I found this out the hard way.

They are fairly inexpensive at around $80 from the magazines including shipping and handling.A new axle that is wider would be the way to go if money is not an object.

axles are only 400, i'd just go for a wider axle. Save you a lot of grief
