Default need to drain the carb

Ok if you guys have read my other thread about this ( http://forums.atvconnection.com/mess...hreadid=398989 ) You will know whats going on. But if you dont, that OK to if you can answer my question.

How do I drain the fuel(and in my case some water) out of the carburator for a 2004 predator and/or a 2000 trailblazer 250?

On my Trailblazer there is a big scew on the bottom. Just unscrew that but be careful its easy so strip and let the crap in the float bowl drain into something.

Default need to drain the carb

anyone know how to drain the predator carb? I have the side and front plastics off as well as the gas tank out so you wont have to tell me or explain any of that.

Default need to drain the carb

well i dont know about the pred but the tb has a 17 mm bolt that goes into the bottom that gives u access to the main jet and if u have the right size wrench it is not easy to strip, just take your time but be careful because when u pull that bolt/plug out gas will drain all over. what i like to do is put a small plastic butter container under it and let the gas drain into it. hope this helps. i have never tried it without takin the air box off but im sure its posible but takin the box off and pullin the carb is easy to do and it makes it easier to work on so do whatever u feel more comfortable with and take it slow and easy and u wont strip anything i promise. good luck man.
