Default TIRES TO BIG FOR MY 400 SPORTSMAN 2004

I HAVE STOCK TIRES ON MY POLARIS AND I WANT TO GO TO BIGGER MORE AGGRESSIVE TIRE. I PRESENTLY HAVE 25X8-12 ATP TITANS ON THE FRONT AND 25X11-12 TITANS ON THE BACK. WANTED TO GO TO A 26 OR 27 MUDLIGHT BUT I'M TOLD THAT ANYTHING BIGGER THEN A 25" WILL RUB ON TIE RODS AND THAT I WOULD NEED SPACERS. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I have a Sportsman 500 and run 26 inch itp 589's. They dont rub on any rods. They will rub on the fenders when coming down off a jump. I have them mounted on ITP rims as well. These rims do have a different offset than the stock. That may make the difference. Hope this helps.
