Default Carb jet size for ported 400L motor

Finally!!! I am going to put this motor back together this weekend. Rebuilt the top end of my 99' Sport 400. Also, I bought a sport port kit from race logic and had my friend do all the machine port work for me. Therefore, I would think I would need to rejet the carb? What size do you think? Or will I be ok w/the stock since I have not done the aftermarket pipe and clutch kit yet, that is next.

Watch out for detonation with the stock pipe until you are able to get another one. As a rule of thumb, I always either move the clip down a notch on the needle or go up one size on the jetting. Most of the time you'll end up where you started, but get it broke in first. Bubba
