Default Removing swingarm bolt on scrambler 400

What size socket does the large swingarm bolt take on a scrambler 400. The largest I have is 1 1/4" and that is way too small. I want to know for sure before i go buy a new socket and get the wrong one.
Thanks

The socket you need is 1 3/4". Any Fleet Farm type store will have them for a reasonable price, you'll probably only be able to get it in 3/4" drive, so you'll also need an adapter. The bolt threads are critical to get them clean. Brake cleaner to start with...not carb cleaner, it leaves a residue behind. Then if you really want to do it right Permatex, or Loctite both have spray "primers for their thread locking compounds. 150ft/lbs is the torque. One suggestion for making the major projects easier, is to get yourself a Polaris Maint. manual. It will pay for itself. Use red Loctite.
