I think the 250 TB is a great bike for the wife. Elec. start, reverse, auto. Everything my wife wanted. Since she is a beginning rider it has enough power for her also. Another reason for buying the 250 was that my son will soon be ready to step up. It has worked very well in the woods behind our house and she has kept up with me pretty well. I have not had it on the dunes yet. If your wife does not mind shifting, you may also want to look at the Suzuki LT250. It has the clutchless shift, rev, elec start also. We went with the TB becuase the wife had no interest in learning when to shift. Not to mention the $1000 price diff.

So basically she loves her Polaris and I would recommend buying one

 

My wife loves hers, plus it's fun just to fart around on it.
