Transmission Fluid
#1
Can someone tell me where the transmission fluid drain plug is on the 00 TB325? I can't find it anywhere in the manual or on the machine! I guess it's not as obvious as the oil drain plug! Also the Polaris dealer that I went to gave me an in line fuel filter; where does it go??? I can't find that either. Thanks a million for any help you people can offer.

Can't help with the drain plug, but maybe the in-line fuel filter is an upgrade. If the manual doesn't show one, I'd say it don't got one.
Anywhere in the fuel line between the tank and carb would work. I'd put it between the fuel selector and the carb, that way you can turn off the fuel to change it.

I have not changed the gear case fluid on my tboss yet, but looking at the parts manual, it appears to be on the left side of the gearbox (opposite from the dipstick side). It is on the side of the box, right on the bottom. I'm not sure how hard it is to get too. On my Magnum, it is easier to remove the skid plate. Hope this helps.

I did some maintenance on the tboss this morning and was curious about where this plug is. Look under the left side of the vehicle on the bottom of the gear case. You will see the plug sticking out. It has a bolt sticking out of it with a retaining nut on it. It appears you have to loosing the retaining nut and screw the bolt in and then loosing the drain plug. I assume the bolt system is to prevent it from coming loose. If you slide under the left side of the machine, you will see it stick out. No need to remove any skid plates for this one.

By George I think you're right! You know, I saw that and didn't even consider it to be a drain plug. But, the parts manual does show a rather weird looking setup. So that must be it. I'll remove it sometime this week and let you know what happens :>) Thanks for the help. I'll talk to you later.
