Ahh! Back to the Predator steering.
Funny you should bring this up Ken, you reminded me of my first thoughts after the first 3-5 minutes seat time on my Pred.......after coming off many yamaha products, the predator SHOCKED me with its tight tight turning radius......don't know if it's from the PRO steering (gotta love that set-up with the mini-extra set of tie-rods) or the swing arm length / wheel base ratio.
I assume the newer 04's with a 5/8"? shorter swing arm even turn tighter. Geez on my +4" Banshee swing-arm and crappy steering geometry, turning radius musta been about 20-25' diameter. What a dog that thing was, unless you were using "throttle induced rear wheel steering".
It's this little things like tight turning radius and braided steel brake lines that we all forget about, yet all add up to a great combination.
I really wonder why Cramaha or Yawndo didn't add braided lines to their "race ready quads" I didn't know what I was missing till I felt how firm the braided lines make your brakes, the rubber lines really do swell and make for a spongier feel.
