bleeding the coolant system

Default bleeding the coolant system

can anyone help me out?i need to know how to bleed the system on my scrammy.thanks

They should be a bolt on top of the head....what I did was took it out and then added my Engine Ice until it came out the hole.

i heard something about marking the bolt before its removed?

i could feel a gain on bottom end, nothing huge, but worth the money IMO. i had a little more wheel lift(LOL) after the reeds..

i installed a pipe,filter and reeds all at the same time,so i couldnt really tell you the difference..

should i be using a new head gasket or rtv sealer when putting it back together?the gasket looks to be ok..

Every time I took my head off I put on a new head gasket. They all looked ok but I did not want to tear it back down again if it would leak. I would put a new one on if I was you....just to be safe.

Intalling new gaskets is always cheap insurance. Couple of bucks spent=many headaches saved. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Don't forget to retorque the cylinder base bolts after the engines first good warm-up....that's if you had the cylinder off.
