Well I got my chain tensioner on and I put it on a little too far back towards the rear wheels and I could hear a clicking noise well the chain was rubbing on the grease fitting of the chain tensioner . So I move it back up the swing arm and I still hear a clicking noise, I think it is rubbing against the bottom of the swing arm when the chain vibrates up and down. I tightened the chain but I still hear it occasinoally. I had my rear shock at the softest setting. Iam going riding today at Houston Raceway park , I guess I' ll see how it does.
Any advice?
Thanks.

Redbullssg-> Thanks for clearing that up, looks like I was right about the operation of the 4wd(i should be, the old man owns a service manual for the sportsman) but I was off a bit on the sprockets. I did realize there has to be gears in the gearcase to drive the front end but it was after I posted that reply............insert foot in mouth now.........Also its good to know that u can buy complete sprocket sets if u want to change the ratio for more topend or more torque.

the sportsman is totally another ball game... All shaft drive! Depending on the year of the Scrambler, 98 to present is shaft driven in the front, and I really don't know much about that. I do know that it works in the same way, but I dont' think that you can change the ratio with sprockets. With is one reason I went with the 97...
