Default ok this is odd for my 400 2x4

If you have "power braked "it you have messed up your belt.NEVER do that with a Polaris.If you want more engagement go with a differant primary spring and/or shift weights.But with the kit RcR told you to use it should be close to on the money.

ftw is right. You don't ever want to power brake a belt drive. What do think that's doing to the belt???????

More than likely the belt is shot. Even when drag racing, only enough stall to make the belt just touch the sheave is all you should do. Any more than that means you are cooking the belt and wearing out the clutch at the engagement point.Bubba
