help!! 21x12x8 8 paddle taller hauler or 21x12x8 10 paddle regular hauler??
Well if you are riding in very soft deep sand the taller haylers will work .But if you are in heavy wet sand the taller haulers will more than likely hurt you.The 21x12x8 Extremes would be the way to go.But since you already ordered them, you tell us if you like em when you get em.Most people say that the taller haulers catch too much air once you get moving.Anyway's good luck.

I just had a discussion last weekend with a tire dealer up at Silver Lake about what tire would work best on my 400, withthe trail pipe and clutching, and he said that the taller haulers would be a bite to much, and I would be better off with a 10 paddle. He said that if it were a stock bike 8-10 would be a toss up, and with the extra horse power and if I planned on hopping it up more, the 10 paddle would be the best choise.
IMHO, I would think that you would want to balance wheel spin with bite in sand drag racing, If you have to much wheels spin, that is what you'll be doing(spinning your wheels), and if you have to much bite, you will be letting off the gas to keep the front end down.

I would say that it just digs deeper. Probably great for loose, dry sand. Not so great for wet packed sand. Someone mentioned that the tend to grab more air, not really sure exactly what that means, but I think I do...
