I painted my timing chain cover and valve cover red. Looks great and holds up well. If you use Engine paint, it shouldnt be a problem

Yes, was wondering if it would hold any extra heat and if so how much perhaps.

I'd degrease w/ Jungle Jake (Same as Simple Green). Then degrease again with a non-residual brake/contact cleaner. Prime, and paint with some good engine epoxy paint. Uh, you'll see my results shortly....and just a few other things. hehe

The laboratory speakers are beginning to rip. The extremely long, and late hours of constant Metallica have them waving their white flag. The shop lights are all burned out with the exception of one bulb. My hair and beard are down to my knees. The bags under my eyes from weeks w/o sleep are a slight distraction......but the defibulator paddles are getting ready to give the initial spark. All the rabbits have left my yard, cause the Predator is about to emerge. American Chopper....what's that? This is AMERICAN QUAD!!!!!

Always good natured, but sometimes a bit evil.

Thanks Mod,

My quad will be done being painted by the end of the week and hopefully back together.

I never had to clean the engine up much cause it is a brand new 04 with not even an hour on it yet. lol

Mine is a NWA Quad.
